For in depth literature searching NHS staff have access to a wide range of specialist databases. These include:

• Medline
• Embase
• PsycINFO
• Global Health: Specialist bibliographic abstracting and indexing database dedicated to human health and communicable diseases.
• HMIC: covers records related to health policy and management in England
