Referencing and managing information: self-directed learning

Introduction to referencing tutorial
This tutorial explains the importance of correctly citing your sources, the principles of citing and referencing, key characteristics of referencing styles and how to formulate citations and references. To complete the entire tutorial takes 30-40 minutes. You can also dip in to sections that interest you, and leave the tutorial and come back later. A certificate of completion is available.

Writing data management plans
This course is designed to walk you through the process of writing a data management plan, using the UCL data management template. The video content will take about one hour to review in total. Each video corresponds to a particular section of the document. If certain sections are less relevant to your particular project they can be skipped to save time. A template data management plan document is also provided which can be completed while reviewing the material. This is a self-directed course which can be completed at your own time and pace.
