Science Library
Malet Place: Includes Engineering, Computer Science, Management and Mathematics.
Main Library
Wilkins Building: Includes Economics and Public Policy
Institute of Education Library
Bedford Way: in addition to Education they have a strong multidisciplinary collection including social science.
Bartlett Library
Upper Woburn Place: Architecture and Town Planning, so can be useful for construction and Civil Engineering.
Cruciform Hub Library
Gower St: Clinical Medicine, useful for Biomedical or Biochemical Engineering and Medical Physics. There are other medical and health libraries you may also want to use, including the Queen Square Library for Neurology and the Language and Speech Science Library.

Pre-register for Senate House Library membership
UCL undergraduates can apply for borrowing access to the Senate House Library, allowing them to borrow up to eight books at a time, upon production of a full and valid UCL ID card.
Applying for a British Library readers pass
To obtain a British Library reader pass, visit Reader Registration in St Pancras, London. You will need to bring ID. Click to learn more.

UCL staff and students may be eligible to apply for membership of libraries outside London as part of the SCONUL Access Band A scheme or the SCONUL Summer Vacation Access scheme.

Accessing libraries outside of London
You may be eligible to visit university libraries outside of London as a SCONUL Band A user (PGR students and staff), or as part of the SCONUL Vacation Access Scheme.

You can request resources from any library using the Click and Collect or Scan and Send service.

Click and collect service
Use the Click and Collect service to reserve books from any library and have them delivered to your library of choice for collection.
Scan and Send service
If you need a chapter or section of a book, use our Scan and Send service to receive extracts via email.

Library Hub Discover
Library Hub Discover, gives access to details of materials held in many UK national, academic and specialist libraries. It contains content created and contributed by 160 institutions.
Senate House Library Catalogue
As a UCL member, you can become a member of Senate House Library to borrow books and use e-resources.
British Library Main Catalogue
The British Library Main catalogue contains millions of records for books, journals, newspapers, printed maps, scores, electronic resources, sound archive items etc. held in the Library's collections
