NHS Resources Guide

A range of quality information including electronic books, journals and bibliographic databases are available to NHS library users and can be accessed online with an NHS OpenAthens account:

• Databases including Medline, Embase, BNI, CINAHL, Emcare, PsycINFO;
• Full-text journals including BMJ journals, PsycARTICLES;
• Full-text books including Oxford Textbooks and Handbooks.

The full range of electronic resources available to NHS staff, plus additional content purchased specifically for your NHS Trust, is accessible to you via the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub. 

Please note:

• Please use your @nhs.net email address as this speeds up the approval of your application.
• If you have an existing NHS OpenAthens account which has expired, please email your home UCL-NHS library for assistance.
• If you have an existing NHS OpenAthens account from a previous NHS trust that you worked at, you should transfer the account to your current trust for access to the most relevant resources for your current role.
