To locate material not held in UCL libraries you can search Library Hub Discover an online catalogue with records of the holdings of the top research libraries in the country, many of which are located in London.

• Senate House Library has strong collections in languages, the arts and social and historical sciences. Any registered member of UCL can join the library and borrow from there. You can pre-register online.
• The British Museum Library & Archive's collections are rich in cultural resources from around the world and can be visited with advance notice.
• The Wellcome Library is an internationally important institution for research into the history of medicine. See their Joining the Library web pages for information about membership
• The National Art Library at the V&A has extensive collections in Literature and the Arts. See their web pages about visiting.
• The British Library has collections in all subjects. UCL staff and students can apply directly for reference access.
