Scopus

What is Scopus?

Scopus is a multidisciplinary bibliographic database. It covers science, social science and arts and humanities publications. Scopus may be useful to identify publications in any discipline, and particularly where search topics may be multidisciplinary.

Scopus is also a citation index, which means that the records in the database contain information on citations made in that publication and it links that information so you can identify which publications have cited that one, and how many times a publication has been cited.

Accessing Scopus

UCL staff and students may access Scopus from any computer. Link to Scopus from the UCL Library Services databases list. Off-site access requires a UCL user ID.

Other UCL library members may access Scopus from 'Explore access points' situated within Library buildings.
