Scopus is a multidisciplinary bibliographic database. It covers science, social science and arts and humanities publications. Scopus may be useful to identify publications in any discipline, and particularly where search topics may be multidisciplinary.
Scopus is also a citation index, which means that the records in the database contain information on citations made in that publication and it links that information so you can identify which publications have cited that one, and how many times a publication has been cited.
See the LibrarySkills@UCL guide to Scopus. Multi-disciplinary database containing references to journal articles, conference proceedings, trade publications, book series and web resources. Please use IE 8 or higher, Google Chrome or Firefox browsers.
