If the PDF opens within the EBSCOhost platform, you can select the headphone icon (or speaker icon for ebooks), towards the top right of the PDF, to have the text read aloud to you. There are options to adjust volume and speed, enable automatic scrolling and text highlighting, or to download an mp3 file of the audio.
Select the book icon (or menu icon for ebooks) to view a table of contents that can be used to navigate the publication.
If a globe icon is visible, you can select it to get an instant translation of the text.
You can also quickly Share, Download, or Print articles, books, or book sections (depending on copyright restrictions) by selecting the relevant icon from the menu. The Share option allows you to send an item to Google Drive or OneDrive; create a link to the item; or share by e-mail.

A Digital Object Identifier (or DOI) is a permanent, stable link to a specific item online. It is more stable than a URL, as URLs can change, for example if an organisation re-structures its website. You might see the DOI in a reference list or bibliography, as it is a reliable way to locate articles online.
