Library essentials for staff and students 2020-21

Our libraries are open and we are providing a full service around the clock online as well as on-campus access to study spaces, books and other services. However, some of our services might be subject to change as we follow government guidance. Please consult our current information page for up-to-date news.

Subject Collections

The Library holds resources in psychology and language science, and the largest collection of SLT tests in the UK. Support and training is provided for UCL staff, students and SLT professionals.

The print collections of the Language and Speech Science Library support the teaching and research interests in the areas of Speech Language Therapy, Psychology and Language Science, Linguistics and Phonetics, and Audiology, within the Division of UCL Psychology and Language Science.

The Library is located on the second floor of Chandler House. In addition to the books and printed journals on the open shelves, lesser used material. including back-runs of some print journals and the Historical Collection, are kept in off-site Stores.

Where to study?

You can choose to study in any of UCL's Libraries and study spaces, including bookable study and group work spaces. There are also areas for postgraduate use only.
