The following databases are useful for searching for books, journal articles and other literature on a specific subject and identifying where you can find them online:
See the LibrarySkills@UCL guide to Web of Science. Fully indexes over 2300 arts and humanities journals, as well as selected items over 250 scientific and social sciences journals. To search only content from this database, go to More settings and select Arts & Humanities Citation index only.
Previously called BHI: British Humanities Index. Index of published literature in the humanities, covering humanities journals and weekly magazines, as well as quality newspapers published in the UK and the United States.
