You can access basic citation counts for individual papers through Scopus or Web of Science. However, this is not usually easy to analyse on a larger scale, and is not normalised.
As a result, the main source we recommend for citation metrics is InCites.
The citation counts are on the right hand column of the search results in Scopus:
And similarly on the right hand column in Web of Science: though note that this shows both "citations" (papers which cite this paper) and "references" (papers cited by this paper).
For more complex normalised metrics, or for data for groups of papers, we recommend using InCites - see that page for further guidance on accessing InCites.
To get citation counts and the key normalised metrics for an individual paper, click the number under "Web of Science Papers" in the results table.
The data is provided for each paper in the popup box. There is also the option to "download table" for a file with standard metrics for each paper.
