There are a number of ways to access journals and articles.
You can explore a wide range of NHS-funded journals via the NHS Knowledge and Library Hub or BrowZine.
Log in with your NHS OpenAthens account - or register here if you don’t have one.
LibKey Nomad is a browser extension that simplifies access to research. When you're browsing the web and find an article, Nomad automatically checks if your library has access and provides a direct link to the full text, saving you time. Watch our two minute video to find out more.
LibKey Nomad has been installed on all Trust PCs at UCLH - so look for the full text links when searching for information.
Can't access the article you need with your NHS OpenAthens account? Even if you're not a university employee, you can still access UCL’s journal collections for free by joining UCL Libraries. There are two options:
Visit a UCL library and use an Explore Access Point (EAP) to download e-journals to an unencrypted USB stick.
You can also read or copy print journals available in some of our libraries.
If allowed by the journal’s license, you can request a PDF copy via our Document Delivery Service.
First, check if UCL holds the journal in UCL Explore, then submit a request form for each item

BrowZine displays UCLH's NHS journal subscriptions in a user-friendly format. You can:
