ACM Digital Library is one of the key databases for accessing journals, conference proceedings, technical magazines and other materials in Computer Science. The library includes both peer-reviewed scholarly journals and professional publications. It is curated and maintained by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), a professional organisation dedicated to educational and scientific computing.
UCL staff and students can access ACM Digital Library from any computer. Off-site access requires a UCL user ID; we recommend accessing ACM Digital Library via the A-Z of Databases, or by clicking the link below.
Other UCL library members can access ACM Digital Library from 'Explore access points' situated within Library buildings.
ACM Digital Library includes the ACM Full Text Collection and the ACM Guide to Computing Literature, an abstract database. Whilst most resources in the ACM Digital Library are full-text, some records in the ACM Guide to Computing Literature include only abstracts or citation information. Click here for guidance on obtaining the full-text of resources.
