ACM Digital Library

ACM Digital Library is one of the key Computer Science databases for accessing journal, newspaper and magazine articles, conference proceedings, videos and other materials. It is created by the professional organisation ACM (Association for Computing Machinery), which focuses on educational and scientific computing and includes peer reviewed scholarly journals as well as professional publications.

UCL staff and students can access ACM Digital Library from any computer. Off-site access requires a UCL user ID. Other UCL library members can access ACM Digital Library from 'Explore access points' situated within Library buildings. 

It includes the ACM Full Text Collection and the ACM Guide to Computing Literature. Whilst much of the content in the ACM Digital Library includes the full text of the articles, there are also records in the ACM Guide to Computing Literature which just contain the citation information and you can check whether UCL has access to it via UCL Explore. If UCL does not have access, you can request an interlibrary loan, suggest a purchase, or contact your subject librarian to try and find other sources for the item.
