Best Practices for UCL LibGuides

There are a couple of reasons why you might want to create a table of contents within your guide, as we have here within the Best Practices guide, with the 'On this page' boxes:

1. For the welcome page - to highlight what's within your guide. 
2. For longer pages in your guide, so users can see what's there without having to scroll down

If you are linking to another page within your guide, you can do this as you would any other hyperlink. To link to content within the same page,  is a slightly different process, but easy to do. Each box of content on your page has it's own URL. You can find it by clicking on the edit symbol at the top right of the box. Next, click on the Box Link & Widget Code tab, then copy the box link:
