Mendeley Desktop

Mendeley Desktop allows you to import files saved from EndNote, Reference Manager, Zotero or BibTeX. To import your references from the other package in the appropriate format, from within Mendeley go to the File menu, then Import and select the appropriate option.

Example - importing an EndNote library or group:

• In EndNote Desktop, select either All references or a group set of references
• Click on File and Export as an XML (.xml) file to your computer
• Open Mendeley (desktop), and click on File and Import; select EndNote XML format
• Browse to the previously downloaded file on your computer, and click on Open.
