From the Advanced Search screen, select Researchers and enter author names in the format shown in the examples in the search boxes. Web of Science will attempt to auto-complete names based on its own records. If you know the ResearcherID or ORCID number, you can enter this directly. You can also search for all authors at a particular institution.

Bear in mind that Web of Science may know someone under variant names, so it can help to include alternative first names.
Web of Science will display groups of records for papers from single authors - these cover all databases and not just the Core Collection. Clicking the link will take you to a page about that author with a list of associated papers. These groups are mostly automatically generated and while they are reasonably good, you may find that some researchers are split into two or more records. If this happens, you can tick the records and click View as combined record to see the results for both together.
Records with a green tick icon indicate that they have been verified by the researcher, and can be considered more accurate.

You can view which journals are included within Web of Science by searching the Master Journal List.
In the top right, click on Help and choose Master Journal List from the drop-down menu.
