Explore Access Points provide public access to our Explore service in UCL Libraries. These terminals cannot be used for any other online activities, such as accessing e-mail, or browsing the web. To log in please enter your barcode (long number on the back of your ID card or library card) and select the type of user you are (UCL/NHS/Other).

The terminals cannot be used for any other online activities, such as accessing e-mail, or browsing the web. Printing is not possible from Explore Access Points.
For security reasons, do not use an Explore Access Point to pay fees or fines. Instead use your own device (i.e. laptop, mobile phone, etc.).
Most of UCL's online resources are licensed for use by visitors as well as UCL students and staff. We have a number of Explore Access Points in UCL libraries, via which visitors can view most of our online resources.
There are some electronic resources you will not be able to access because of licensing restrictions unless you are a UCL member (note: you will be required to login).
These resources include the following:
Insert your USB stick into one of the free USB slots on the left hand side of the PC. Your USB stick will be known as 'Removeable Disk (E:)' or be identifiable by its name if it has one.
Please make sure you eject your stick when you have finished your session.
