Explore: Finding books, journals and more

• If you are a UCL staff member or student, sign in to your library account with your UCL userid and password.
• Other library members sign in with your UCL library barcode and password. 

Your PIN is separate from your password and is needed for borrowing laptops from the self-service cabinets. Some self-issue machines may also require a pin. Your PIN consists of four digits and for UCL students is set automatically to your date of birth (Day/Day/Month/Month).

You can change your PIN or your password from within your Explore library account.

Log in to your account in Explore and choose the Personal Details tab from the My Library Account section and then choose Change PIN/Password.

If you have forgotten your password or your PIN does not work, please contact your nearest UCL library, speak to a member of Library staff at a Help Point or email library@ucl.ac.uk.
