This guide introduces the Harvard referencing style and includes examples of citations.

Conference paper

To be made up of:

  • Author of paper.
  • Year of publication (in round brackets).
  • Title of paper (in single quotation marks).
  • Title of conference: subtitle (in italics).
  • Location and date of conference.
  • Place of publication: publisher.
  • Page references for the paper.

If seen online, add:

  • Available at: URL (or doi if available).
  • (Accessed: date) (not required when DOI used).
