All of the surveys used across Library Surveys are listed on the Surveys page, and are grouped in folders.
To find a survey, browse the folders or use the search box to search by title, or sort by author or date.
Library trainers should copy one of the survey templates, from the 'Templates' folder', to create their own feedback survey for synchronous or asynchronous training activities. See Creating your survey.
Each survey template consists of a set of questions which comprise a ‘core’. Once you have created your own survey questions may be replaced, edited, or added to as required. A question bank holds additional questions from which to select.
Please note: If you need a feedback survey for material or session which are part of the LibrarySkills@UCL Scheduled Programme. The templates, and the LibrarySkills@UCL survey should not be changed or edited. Please follow instructions on Surveys for LibarySkills@UCL scheduled programme sessions to generate a unique URL for the survey for your session.
To create your survey, first make a copy of the template:
Important: Please note you do not need to create a new survey for every training session that you deliver, if you will be using the same questions. You can use the survey that you have created to generate feedback surveys for as many different sessions as you would like. Please use this approach to facilitate analysis of the data and to avoid creating too many surveys in LibWizard. To create a feedback survey for a specific session, follow the instructions for using custom URLs to pre-fill the session/tutorial title.
If you want to practice using LibWizard on a dummy survey, you can create a survey as according to the instructions but please preface it with TEST and delete it when no longer needed.
Please create folders to help to organise surveys, for example if your site or team needed more than one survey. To create a folder use the Create New Folder button at the top of the page. Surveys can be moved in and out of folders using the three dots menu (Actions column).
