Mentimeter is an online polling, questioning and voting tool that you can use in your classes or presentations, whether they are face-to-face or online, synchronous or asynchronous.

With the quizzes feature you can create multiple choice or free text quiz questions.

Mentimeter can also be used asynchronously, however, as this is not its primary purpose, some functionality is missing, for example providing individual feedback to quiz answer selections. Quiz results are only available collectively (you see everyone’s responses, although anonymous). It is however very visually appealing, user friendly, good for mobile devices and might be a good option if you wanted to have an asynchronous version of a quiz originally delivered in person.
